Launching Acta

Apr 15, 2025

it’s time for something new. i’m starting the craziest, most ambitious, and riskiest company of my life.

six months ago, i made the tough decision to step away from my first startup, Jamie. not because i stopped believing in it, or due to conflict, or anything like that. rather, i felt an inner calling to explore something new.

for five years, i poured my heart and soul into Jamie. we were growing fast, reaching a scale few startups achieve, with a talented, hardworking team. it felt good—comfortable, even. but i no longer woke up with the same excitement i once did. a voice in my head urged me to move on.

after leaving, i dove into what truly excites me: music, writing, building quirky side projects, documenting my life through videos, reading, and traveling. a few months into this journey, while visiting my friend Bjoern, a new idea came up. what if we created an organization dedicated to serving humanity at its core? from those conversations, Acta was born.

at acta, our mission is to unlock human potential to create a better today. we have a long list of ideas for ventures that drive positive impact in the world, one way or another. we’re seeking founders—on both the product and business sides—who are deeply committed to this vision, not just for profit, but for meaningful change.

we’re also putting the personal evolution of everyone at acta front and center. through meditation, embodiment practices, coaching, and a focus on self-awareness, we’re reconnecting with timeless wisdom to foster more meaningful lives. this way, we’re not only driving rapid execution for impact but also nurturing the unfolding of every person in our organization.

our plan? launch dozens of highly profitable ventures over the next few years—ventures that aren’t exit-driven but are always tied to a positive contribution to humanity. we’re introducing some radical ideas, like sharing everything in public with the world. more on that soon.

yes, there are countless ways this could fail. but i’ve never felt so deeply about a company before. at its heart, acta is an experiment, and i can’t wait to share this journey with you all.

for now, thank you for reading. we’ll keep you posted. much love, Louis
